Ok maybe he’s not because he can’t. Artist places a plastic man in a suit and tie with a briefcase on top of a financial firms office building in Vienna, Italy.
The artist, Ronald Kodritsch, says the piece — called “Reason to Believe” — is not necessarily about suicide.
“It’s not interesting whether he will jump or not. It’s all about having a different perspective on things and about what might cross his mind,” Kodritsch told Reuters. “Hyperrealism is boring!”
This truly is an innovative piece of art that will keep onlookers guessing and really thinking about our current economic situation. Whether it is a message of hope or gloom the plastic man on the edge will be there for the next year.
